Welcome to Year 5

Mr. Bloomfield's class is made up of year 5 children. All the children are expected to take on responsibilities in the class and around the school. for example with our school care rota.

During the year we will be studying Victorian children, introducing French, investigating water & mountains & using interactive programs in ICT to control various activities.

This term we are looking at:

Literacy: myths & legends & persuasive writing.

Maths: fractions, decimals & percentages, 2 & 3D shapes, problem solving & data handling.

Science: solids, liquids & gases.

Geography:investigating mountains & their environments.

DT: textiles & sewing. Designing & making a fabric container.
